5. Great Blue Hole, Belize
The Great Blue Hole in Belize is another popular spot for diving. This submarine sinkhole is a natural wonder and was formed during the last ice age and is about 300 meters wide. Here, divers will be treated to beautiful limestone formations that have evolved to ledges after so many years and have fallen away to the chasm of darkness underwater. Here, divers will also spot several schools of giant groupers, as well as nurse sharks and Caribbean reef sharks.
